How It Works

Thyro-Complex™ is a comprehensive blend of l-tyrosine, minerals, and glandular and herbal extracts formulated for thyroid health. The amino acid, l-tyrosine is known to promote the production of thyroid hormones. Zinc and selenium, two minerals included in this formula, also support thyroid hormone production. Deficiencies in either of these minerals have been linked to thyroid dysfunction.

Promotes Thyroid Gland Health

L-tyrosine promotes thyroid health by serving as a precursor to thyroid hormones like T4 and T3. Additionally, zinc and selenium are essential for thyroid hormone synthesis, activation, and regulation, as well as protecting the thyroid gland from oxidative damage and supporting immune function. The body also needs an adequate amount of iodine to make thyroid hormones. Thyro-Complex™ contains kelp extract, which is naturally rich in iodine. Although not very common, if deficient in iodine, the thyroid can be negatively affected causing the body to experience symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Promotes Endocrine System Health

The endocrine system is made up of glands, hormones, and receptors. The thyroid gland is part of the endocrine system, and other glands that make up this system include the pituitary and adrenal. The health of these hormones is vital for bodily function. Oat straw is rich in vitamins and has been included to support the endocrine system. Oat straw may help promote relief in some symptoms caused by glandular dysfunction such as brain function and mood.
