Antioxidants are molecules that help protect cells in the body from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Echinacea contains antioxidants including flavonoids, cichoric acid, and rasmarinic acid. Additionally, echinacea contains alkamides, which can renew worn-out antioxidants and help them reach molecules more effectively.

Recommendations
