Cuachalalate has been used in pre-Hispanic times in Mexico mostly to promote digestive health as well as other applications. Cuachalalate contains tannins (polyphenolic biomolecules) and red dyes. This supplement has been combined with croton lechleri (Sangre de Grado) and BioPerine®, a black pepper extract clinically proven to enhance bioavailability of certain nutrients.
